Funeral Services for Charles Everett Canterberry, 82, of Monroe, LA, will be at 2:00 P.M. Friday, April 28, 2023, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Rd, Monroe with Rev. Andy Myrick and Rev. William Sikes officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery, Monroe, LA. Visitation will be 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM Friday, April 28, 2023, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Rd, Monroe.
Mr. Canterberry was born August 31, 1940, and passed away on April 26, 2023. He was a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church. Mr. Canterberry was a weld inspector by trade.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Morris C. Canterberry and Frances Jeansonne Canterberry; and sister, Yvonne Kinnison.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy Gilley Canterberry; six children, Randi Canterberry Stanton and husband Tommy, Dawn Canterberry James and husband Stephen, Matthew Charles Canterberry, Debbie Grubbs, Dianne Robinson and husband Jeff, and David Wolf and wife Lillya; nineteen grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren; sister, Anneilla Wyatt and husband William; brother, Doot Canterberry and wife Linda; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many special friends.
Pallbearers will be Vincent Russell, Cole Canterberry, Allen Coleman, Jay George, Hunter Canterberry, Marty George, Macky James, David Wolf, Chase James and Chance Bounds. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jeff Robinson and Doot Canterberry.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Oak Hill Baptist Church in Bastrop, LA.
