Celisa Hendry Meuwly

A celebration of life for Celisa Hendry Meuwly will be held Tuesday, May 21, 2024, from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Wesley Chapel fellowship hall in West Monroe, LA. 

Celisa, formally of West Monroe, made her home in Grand Junction, Colorado with her family. 

She is preceded in death by her dad, Charles Hendry; sisters-in-law, Susan Meuwly and Sharon Meuwly; and stepfather, Ralph Young.

Celisa is survived by her husband of 43 years, Jerry Meuwly; her son, Josh Meuwly and wife Kayt; her daughters, Lauren Hall and husband Scott, and Chelsea Gorzitze and husband Ryan; and the loves of her life her grandchildren, Tehgan, Jaxxon, Masyn, Harrison, Nora, Everett, Charlie, Monroe, and Rawlins. She is also survived by her mother, Jean Hendry Young; her brother, Eddie Hendry and wife Kim; her sisters, Tonya Stephens and husband Keith, and Melony Darden, and husband Terry; stepsister, Sue Breard and husband Bynie; stepbrothers, Ralph Young and wife Mary, and Mark Young and wife Kelly; her mother-in-law, Frieda Meuwly; her father-in-law, Bill Meuwly and wife LaVerne; brother-in-law, Mike Meuwly and wife Barbara; as well all numerous nieces and nephews.
