Cecil Gorman

Graveside service for Mr. Cecil Gorman, 82, of Bastrop, LA, will be held at 2:30PM Monday, February 1, 2021, at Causey Cemetery in Beekman, LA, with Ronald Odom and Ronald Uptigrove officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00AM until 1:00PM at Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd. Monroe, LA.
Mr. Gorman was preceded in death by his mother, Lorena Osler Benson; wife, Jaunice Gorman; brother, Bo Gorman; sister, JoAnn Smith; son-in-law, Don Rodgers; grandson, Cecil Duane Gorman, Jr.; and great granddaughter, Peyton Marie Gorman. He was a U. S. Army veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include his children, Cheryl Rodgers, Cecil Duane Gorman and wife Melinda, and Shane Gorman; grandchildren, Tiffani Basinger, Cody Rodgers, Chandler Gorman, Dylan Gorman, Daniel Gorman, and Celina Gorman; six great grandchildren; and two sisters, Bessie Sadler and Betty Conner.
Pallbearers will be Cody Rodgers, Eddie Bassinger, Mason Basinger, Mark Smith, Chandler Gorman, and Allen Coker.
