Funeral Services for Cecil E. Sinclair, Sr., 88 of West Monroe will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday March 1, 2012 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe with Rev. Jon Tellifero officiating.  Interment will be at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe, LA.Mr. Sinclair was born in Bolding, AR on September 23, 1923 but moved to Monroe, LA at an early age. He passed away on February 28, 2012 in West Monroe, LA. Cecil was a Veteran of WWII, having served in the United States Army 24th Corps Infantry as a Lieutenant. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in West Monroe, where he served in many areas of leadership over the years. Cecil was a longtime insurance agent. He served 39 of those years with New York Life. Cecil graduated from Northeast Louisiana University and received his certified life underwriting degree from the American College of Life Underwriters in Bryn Maur, PA. Survivors include his wife, Louise George Sinclair; children, Cheryl Sinclair Boudreaux and husband Brent, Jeannie Sinclair Kennedy, Edwin Sinclair and wife Karen; grandchildren, Brian Wiggins and wife Julie, Jeannie Anne Wilson and husband Marc, Jared Benton, Rebecca Sinclair, Christopher Sinclair; great-grandchildren, Taylor Wilson, Brooke Wilson, and Collin Wiggins.Pallbearers will be Jared Benton, Brian Wiggins, Christopher Sinclair, Collin Wiggins, Brent Boudreaux, and Marc Wilson. Honorary Pallbearers will be members of the Fellowship Sunday School Class at First United Methodist Church of West Monroe.Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. until service time Thursday March 1, 2012 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.The family would like to acknowledge the entire staff of Christus St. Joseph Nursing Home, Hospice Compassus, and Dr. Charles Morgan for their loving care.Memorials may be made to the building fund of First United Methodist Church of West Monroe or the charity of your choice.Online registry/condolence: www.mulhearnfuneralhome.com
