Services for Mr. Cecil E. Pylant, 81 of Winnsboro, will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 26, 2013 at Temple Baptist Church in Winnsboro with Rev. Terry Ganey, Rev. Amos Heckard, Jr., and Rev. Jimmy Harper officiating. Interment will follow in Crowville Masonic Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro.
Mr. Pylant was a deacon at Temple Baptist Church, an Air Force Veteran having served in the Korean Conflict, and was retired from Tennessee Gas Pipeline after 37 years. He was preceded in death by brothers; Wilburn, Chester, Floyd, Ozro, Raymond, George, and Harvey and by great-granddaughter, Josie Claire Plyant.

Wife of 59 years: Barbara Pylant of Winnsboro, LA.
2 Sons: Steve Pylant and wife Rhonda of Crowville, LA.
Tim Pylant of Crowville, LA.
Grandchildren: Steven E. Pylant, Jr.
Jason N. Pylant and wife Nora.
Great Grandchildren: Kelsey Pylant and Julia Kate Pylant.
Mother-in-Law: Beatrice Netherland.
A Host of Nieces and Nephews.
Pallbearers are: Mitchell Valentine, Marlin Valentine, Wayne Waller, Jimmy Cloessner, Donnie Harper, and Leo Thornhill, Jr.
Visitation will be from 5:00 till 8:00 p.m. Thursday, April 25th at Temple Baptist Church in Winnsboro.
