Funeral Services for Catherine McCarty, 84, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00PM Thursday, February 10, 2022 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe with Dr. Mike Holloway officiating. Interment will follow in Kilpatrick’s Serenity Gardens, West Monroe.

Catherine was born on May 14, 1937 in Baskin, LA and passed away on February 5, 2022 in West Monroe, LA. She was a member of Ouachita Baptist Church. Catherine loved spending time with her family. She loved playing pranks on her kids and great-grandchildren. She loved going on vacations in her RV, fishing, watching the children play in the swimming pool, and enjoyed her flowers in her yard. Catherine loved visiting her brother on the farm. She will be deeply missed by all. Catherine is preceded in death by her parents, Wisley and Wesey Herrington; son, Bobby McCarty; brothers, Bubba Herrington and Tommy Herrington.

Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Aaron McCarty; children, Wayne McCarty and wife Cheryl, Paul McCarty and Linda Spillers and husband Keith; 13 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives.

Pallbearers will be Shelby McCarty, Jospeh Spillers, Adam Goyne, Chris Williamson, Jeremy Spillers, and Cody Spillers.

Visitation will be held from 12:00PM until service time on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
