Catherine Olivia Cobb

Funeral services for Mrs. Catherine Olivia Cobb, 98, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, September 9, 2023, in Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel in Monroe, with Rev. Terry Barnes officiating and Rev. Ricky Baker will sing one of her favorite songs. Interment will follow in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until service time in the mausoleum chapel.

Mrs. Cobb was born July 4, 1925, in Warden, LA, and passed away September 6, 2023, in Monroe, LA. She was a member of Parkview Baptist Church, Forsythe Garden Club and Monroe Art Association. Mrs. Cobb was a seamstress and artist.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carlton “Don” Cobb, and granddaughter, Lauren Cobb.

Survivors include her sons, Mike Cobb and Carlton Cobb; daughter, Donna Norman and husband Richard; sister, Elaine Sicard; granddaughters, Tracy Mitchell and husband Rob and Carolyn Lewis and husband Ben; grandsons, Richard Davis “Davey” Norman III and Benjamin “Ben” Norman and wife Rachel; great grandson, Brooks Norman; and great granddaughter, Layla Lewis; and numerous special nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
