Carroll "Pops" Jordan

Funeral services for Carroll “Pops” Jordan, 76, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 3:00 PM, Tuesday, April 17, 2018, at Memorial Baptist Church, Monroe, LA, with Rev. Roger Stoffer and Rev. Wayne Kimbrough officiating. Interment will follow at Rhymes Cemetery, Richland Parish, LA, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe. Visitation will be 10:00 AM until service time on Tuesday, at the church.

Mr. Jordan was born December 22, 1941, in Oak Grove, LA and passed away Sunday, April 15, 2018, in Monroe, LA. Pops was a member of Memorial Baptist Church. He loved fishing, target shooting, and spending time with “His Hearts”, his grandchildren and great grandchildren,

Mr. Jordan was preceded in death by his parents, Delton Jordan and Ula Ree Johnson Jordan; brother, Jack Wayne Harrell; twin sister, Katherine Barnes.

Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Jeanette Jordan; 9 children, Pam Ellerbe and husband Darrell, Frankie Jordan, David Jordan and wife Jennette, Renee Jordan, Michael Jordan and wife Cindy, Melissa Odom and husband Donald, Stephanie Teston and husband Eric, Grady Brooks and wife Shelly; 32 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren, and 1 on the way; 2 brothers, Adrian Jordan and wife Barbara, Kenny Harrell and wife Arlene; sister, Rachel Miles; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
