Carrol Marie "Winky" Haley

Visitation for Carrol Marie “Winky” Haley, 77, of Monroe, LA, formerly of Brookhaven, MS, will be held from 5:30 P.M. until 7:30 P.M. Monday May 9, 2022, at Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd. Monroe. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Brookhaven, MS with interment to follow at Heuck’s Retreat Cemetery under the direction of Brookhaven Funeral Home in Brookhaven, MS.
Mrs. Haley was a member of the Assisi Church in Brookhaven, MS, where she served in the choir and was a Eucharistic Minister. She later attended mass at St. Joseph’s Nursing Home here in Monroe. Winky had a special gift by making everyone smile and laugh. Everyone who knew her loved her. She also enjoyed playing tennis. She was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Robert Carroll.
Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Bill Haley; five sisters, JoAnn Carroll, Jeanette Carpenter and husband Walter, Anita Cingolani, Sylvia Prewitt and husband Wayne, and Cynthia Reynolds and husband Jimmy; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Heuck’s Retreat Cemetery fund in Brookhaven, MS.
