Memorial services for Carrie Anna Walker, 56, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00 PM, March 30, 2018, at Pine Grove Church, Monroe, LA, with Rev. Dale Walker officiating, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
Carrie was born December 1, 1961, in Monroe, LA, and passed away March 13, 2018, in Monroe, LA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Billie June Walker; brother Frank Meredith Walker Jr.; niece, Nina Elise Walker; grandparents, Truly and Bessie Etheredge.
For 30 years, Carrie lived and worked in Dallas, Texas, in the retail industry. After finishing her career at Neiman Marcus, she then retired to Monroe to spend time with her family. She was a tireless help to her loved ones and she cherished the time spent caring for her mother in her last years. Carrie had a servant's heart and was always concerned about those around her. She will be missed beyond measure by all who knew her and her generous spirit.
She is survived by her brother, Dale Walker and his wife Lydia; her sisters, Becky Ford and her husband Keith, Melanie Turner and her husband Randy, Lisa Herrock and her husband John; nieces and nephews, Jared Walker and his wife Colby, Lindsey Swander and her husband Bill, Austin Turner and his wife Lauren, Whitney Foster and her husband David, Mollie Cline and her husband Aaron, Carlie and Maggie Turner, Caitlin, Emma, Olivia and Owen Herrock, Andrew Ford, Liz Cottrill and her husband Ben, Meredith Price, Brooke Strickland and her husband Ben, Slade Walker and his wife Shannon, Carmen Mijalis and her husband Andrew; cousins, Joe Walker, Jerry Walker, Connie Gallaway and Cathy Donathan; great-nieces and nephews, William, James and Anna Swander, Lucas and Jack Turner, Blake Walker, Aubrey Cline, Ila and Wyatt Cottrill, Vera and Eleanor Ford, Ella, Madeline and Ava Price, Walker and Sadie Strickland, Dylan, Anna and Naomi Foster.
Visitation will be Friday, March 30, 2018, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM, at Pine Grove Church.
