Carolyn Patricia Lawrence Dawsey, 81 of Natchez, MS will be 2:00PM Thursday, November 2, 2017 in the Mulhearn Chapel with Bro. Jerry Hunt officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Natchez, MS under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home-Winnsboro.

Carolyn was born on April 11, 1936 in Baskin and passed away October 29, 2017 in Natchez.

She loved shopping, cooking, and sewing. She was a proud mother, grandmother, and wife. She loved her family and spending time with grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents-Tracy L. and Martha Elizabeth Anderson Lawrence; her husband-Carl Dawsey of 28 years; sisters-Myra Beth Lawrence and Junita Lawrence Dear; and grandson-Josh Thomas.

She is survived by her children-Kay Palmer and husband Wilson of Natchez, MS, Wayne Thomas and wife Kandie of Winnsboro, and Debbie Toman and husband Keith of Fairfield, CA; grandchildren-T. J. Garland, Michael Thomas and wife Julie, Savannah Vanvhooris and husband Jason, Lindsey Brashier and husband Beau, Lori Clark, Jason Clark, and Neal Palmer; great grandchildren-Dylan Garland, Jaleigh Mason Thomas, Evelyn Vanvhooris, Jaxon Brashier, Hendrix Brashier, Janie Seyfarth, Lakin Palmer, and Haley Palmer; brother-E. R. “Buck” Lawrence; and numerous other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be: Beau Brashier, Jason Van Voorhis, Michael Thomas, Neal Palmer, Dylan Garland, and Keith Toman. Honorary pallbearer will be Mark Clark.

Visitation will be 12:00 Noon until 2:00PM Thursday at the Mulhearn Chapel in Winnsboro, LA.
