Carolyn Meredith Anderson

Carolyn Meredith Anderson 91, of Bentonville, Arkansas, formerly of Winnsboro, La., passed away on December 23rd 2017, at Apple Creek Nursing and Therapy facility in Centurion, Arkansas. She was born August 1, 1926 in Crowville, La. to Carroll and Minnie Alma Meredith of Winnsboro, La.

She is survived by son Gene O. Anderson and daughter in law Vicky Anderson of Crowville; son Fred L. Anderson and daughter in law Nancy Anderson of Eureka Springs, Arkansas. A third son, Carroll Anderson passed away when he was three years old. She is also survived by brothers Hollis Meredith and sister in law Joyce Meredith of Bush, La; Jerry Meredith of Fayetteville, Arkansas; sister Charlotte Fabatz and brother in law John Fabatz of Seattle, Washington; sister in law Lucy Meredith of Bush, La; sister in law Mary Helen Meredith of Gilbert, La.

She is preceded in death by her husband Oliver B. Anderson, brothers Jim Meredith and Sam Meredith. She leaves behind her much beloved four grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild as well as her very special friend Ben Aldama.

She loved to travel and lived in many places throughout the United States as well as residing in Japan. While in Japan, she taught business education and also taught English to Japanese students. Her true passion was painting and she spent many years creating beautiful paintings of areas she had visited and also where she had lived.

Services will be held at Mulhearn's with visitation Tuesday, December 26th from 5:00 to 7:00 pm and final services on Wednesday, December 27th at 1:00 pm followed by burial held at Crowville
Cemetery.

We lost a loved one dear to us but God gained an angel on December 23rd, 2017.
