Carolyn Leigh Hargrove

Funeral service for Ms. Carolyn Leigh Hargrove, 56, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00PM Thursday, January 27, 2022, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd. Monroe with Rev. Norman Bryant and Rev. Roger Stoffer officiating. Interment will follow in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00PM until 7:00PM Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at Mulhearn Funeral Home.

Ms. Hargrove was born on October 30, 1965, in West Monroe, LA, and passed away on January 22, 2022, in Oxford, MS. She loved spending time with children and animals. Ms. Hargrove also liked making jewelry , but she lived to sing gospel music. She sang in many gospel groups over the years and has been a wonderful witness for the Lord. Ms. Hargrove was preceded in death by her father, Charles “Buddy” Hargrove; stepfathers, Harold Jones and Freddie Oliveaux; and two nephews, Carter Cash and Ryan Oliveaux.

Survivors include her children, Benjamin Orien Tidwell and wife Morgan and Kathryn Leianne “Katie” Wilson and husband Jacob; mother, Norma Jean Oliveaux; grandchildren, Collin and Juda Tidwell and Lincoln Wilson; brothers and sisters, Chuck Hargrove, Jr., Susan Hargrove, Ann Knight, Linda Gathing, Geri Pruitt, Christy Trichel, and Melissa DeBlieux; three special nieces, Brittney and Brandy Brinson, and Jessica Pittman; special great nieces and nephew, Peyton, Chloe, and Kenneth; special friend and caretaker, James Taylor “Jim” Brown; and special friend, Cindy Jones.

Pallbearers will be Kenny Brinson, Butch Wood, John Tidwell, Jacob LaMartiniere, and Phillip LaMartiniere.
