Carolyn Day Lee

Funeral services for Mrs. Carolyn Day Lee, 83, of Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, April 22, 2024, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd., Monroe, LA, with Rev. Ben McGehee and Rev. Betty Swanson officiating. Interment will follow in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe, LA. Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. Sunday, April 21, 2024, at the funeral home.

Mrs. Lee was born February 17, 1941, in Marion, LA, and passed away April 18, 2024, in Monroe, LA. She was a lifetime member of Lea Joyner Memorial Methodist Church in Monroe. Mrs. Lee loved to cook and take care of her grandchildren. She attended all softball games and every school function. Family was her life. 

Mrs. Lee was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Raymond and Erie Kathrine Day; and her brother, Kenneth Day.

Survivors include her husband, John Lee; son, Raymond Lee and wife Lori; and her grandchildren, Krystal Johns, Cymantha Smelser, and Katherine Bolin; great grandchildren, Cybastian Smelser, Kolton Johns, and Josee Bolin.

Pallbearers will be Eric Chambers, Hunter Bolin, Jared Smelser, Michael Johns, Rod Milliman, and Mike Morris.
