Carolyn Nowlin Bahn

Funeral services for Mrs. Carolyn Nowlin Bahn, 69, Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00PM Saturday, October 19, 2024, at Lea Joyner Methodist Church with Rev. Ben McGehee, Rev. Betty Swanson, and Rev. Mark Elliott officiating. Interment will be in Green Oaks Memorial Park in Baton Rouge, LA. Visitation will be from 12:00PM until service time at Lea Joyner Methodist Church. 

Mrs. Bahn was born on July 31, 1955, and passed away on October 16, 2024. She was an Investigator for the DA Office in Baton Rouge. Mrs. Bahn loved spending time with people sharing God’s word. She was always the life of the party and everyone who knew her loved her. 

Mrs. Bahn was preceded in death by her mother, Hazel Coley Nowlin; father, Henry Nowlin; brother, Jimmy Nowlin; sister, Shirley Carroll; and brother-in-law, Darrell West. 

Survivors include her sisters, Dorothy Duncan (Charles); Evelyn McKoin (Charles), Janice Baldwin (Jack), Chris Williamson (Steve), and Toni Elliott (Mark); brother-in-law, Charles R. Carroll; fourteen nephews; 3 nieces; host of great nephews and nieces; and great great nephews and nieces. 

Pallbearers will be Ricky Duncan, Randy McKoin, David Nowlin, Tim Nowlin, Jack Taylor, Brian West, Mike Tyson, and Ryland Taylor.
