Graveside Services for Caroline Cummings, 80, of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 3:00 P.M., Thursday, May 11, 2023, at Kilpatrick Serenity Gardens in West Monroe, LA with Rev. Jayme Hawthorne         officiating.

 Visitation will be held from 2:30 P.M. until service time on Thursday at Kilpatrick Serenity Gardens in West Monroe.

Caroline Cummings was born June 18, 1942, in Houston, TX, and passed away peacefully on May 8, 2023, at her residence in West Monroe, LA.

Mrs. Cummings was a lifetime Lutheran, who knew and loved the lord. She was also an avid gardener who loved roses and hydrangeas. Growing up, she enjoyed fishing and shrimping with her parents. She found peace and joy on the beach. Later in life, she found enjoyment in arts and crafts as well as a love for animals. She was a devoted mother. Neither disagreements nor distance ever diminished her love for her family. Caroline will be deeply, deeply missed by all who love her.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Guy Clark Cummings; Father, Merrill Bailey Sr; mother, Selma Riske Bailey; and sister, Joyce Chandler.

Survivors include her older brother, Merrill Bailey Jr of Houston, TX; children, Mary Lear of West Monroe, LA, Harvey and Paula Cummings of Winnsboro, TX, Jeremy and Kristi Cummings of West Monroe, LA, Guy Cummings of West Monroe, LA and Misti and Joe Barrientos of Hereford, TX; 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
