Funeral services celebrating the life of Carol Kay Pardue Braswell, 79, of Houston, TX, will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, March 18, 2022 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA with Dr. Larry Dean officiating. Interment will follow at Acree Cemetery in Point, LA under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.

Mrs. Braswell was born June 13, 1942 in Point, LA to Fermon Bronell and Lillian Dean Pardue and passed away March 14, 2022. She was a member of Tallowood Baptist Church in Houston, TX. Mrs. Braswell was preceded in death by her husband James Anderson Braswell; her parents, Fermon Bronell and Lillian Dean Pardue; her sister, Cheryl Dawn Skipper; and her brothers, Barry Kennon Pardue and Kenneth Van Pardue.

Survivors include her children, James Anderson Braswell, Jr. and Julie Braswell Hickman; and her grandchildren, Addison Grace Hickman and Blake Matthew Hickman.

Visitation will be held at 10:00 A.M. until service time on Friday at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA.
