Funeral Services for Carl Redman McBeth, 82, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 12:00PM Saturday, March 2, 2013 at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Monroe, LA with Bro. Terry Mims officiating. Interment will follow in the Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.

Mr. McBeth was born on August 18, 1929 in Rosboro, AR and passed away on February 27, 2013 in West Monroe, LA. He was retired from the U.S. Postal Service with 32 years served. Mr. McBeth was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church where he served as a deacon for 49 years. He loved baseball, the St. Louis Cardinals, and working in the yard. Mr. McBeth is preceded in death by his son, Ronnie McBeth; and grandson, Derek Brandon Canal.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Mary Alice McBeth; daughter, Terri McBeth Fricker and husband Jay of West Monroe, LA; grandchildren, Chad Canal and wife Heather, Brandi McBeth, Kristin Canal-Norris, Ron McBeth and wife Kerri Sue, John-Cody Canal and wife Allison, and Kelsey Fricker- Davis; great-grandchildren, Lizzie, Jase and Kai Canal, Andi-Leigh Norris, and Cameron and Collyn McBeth; and sister, Billie Sue O’Dell.

Pallbearers will be Will Norris, Todd Adams, Rickey Pratt, Craig Adams, DonDee Adams, and Roe Morris. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jim Smith, Charles Dean, O.C. Watson, Jimmy Vallery, Harry Smith, Jim Stephens, and Gene Cox.

Visitation will be held from 4:00PM until 8:00PM Friday, March 1, 2013 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
