Funeral Services for Mr. Carl Fatheree, 81, of West Monroe, LA will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at Hyde Park Baptist Church in West Monroe, LA with Rev. Jeff Luellen officiating. Interment will follow at Kilpatrick Serenity Gardens Cemetery in West Monroe.
Mr. Fatheree was born November 1, 1928 in Natchitoches, LA and passed away May 29, 2010 in West Monroe, LA. He was a member of Hyde Park Baptist Church, West Monroe Masonic Lodge # 419, where he was a past Master. Mr. Fatheree was a 33rd Degree Mason and a member of the Red Cross of Constantine, Monroe Scottish Rites, and Knights Templer. He was a veteran in the United States Army. He is preceded in death by parents, Claude and Vera Robbins Fatheree; son, Mark Fatheree; brother, Donald Fatheree; paternal-grandparents, William and Mattie Lee Fatheree.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Bailey Fatheree; son, W. Bryan Fatheree; granddaughter, Leslie Fatheree; great-granddaughter, Lily Ann Meeks; sister-in-law, Sybil Mann; nephews, Mike Mann and Gary Mann and niece, Debra Phillips; special nephew, Joshua Mann; cousins, Janine (Greg) Garland, Nancy (Randy) Dye, Charlyn (Janson) Emfinger, Dennis Parker.
Pallbearers will be Dr. I C Turneley, W B T-Bo McCarthy, Roy McDuffie, Richard L Fewell, Sr, Richard L Fewell, Jr, Peyton Johnson, Robert C Joyner, Woody D Bilyeu. Honorary Pallbearers will be James R Corry, William S Chapman, Alton C Reeves, Chalmes V Williams, Prentice L. Wallace, Thad Spurlock, Skip Caissie, EK Odom, H. Glen Jordan, and Bobby Burkett.
Visitation will be 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Monday, May 31, 2010 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
Memorials may be made to Hyde Park Baptist Church or Monroe Scottish Rites.
