Funeral Services for Cara Alana Byrd, 33, of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, June 24, 2018, in the Mausoleum Chapel at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe, LA, with Rev. Waymond Warren officiating. Interment will follow in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
Cara Alana Byrd was born October 24, 1984, and passed away June 18, 2018. She was devoted to her dog, Leo. Cara had a great interest in music, especially the drums. She was a very giving person when her health allowed her to.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Edward and Haven Hemphill, and Herman and Irene Byrd; uncle, Ricky Byrd; brother, Chad Byrd; and cousin, Shannon Walters.
Survivors include her parents, Randy and Janice Byrd; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. until service time on Sunday at Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel.
The family would like to give special thanks to Fair Park Baptist Church for their love and prayers.
Memorials may be made to the Louisiana Baptist Children’s Home.
