Private family services for Mr. Calvin Fink Schlessman, 90, of Calhoun, LA will be held Monday January 18, 2021 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Calhoun, LA under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA
Calvin F. Schlessman was born May 29, 1930 and passed away January 15, 2021 at St. Francis Medical Center after a brief illness.
Cal was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in Calhoun, LA. He was retired from Ford Bacon and Davis as a Chemical Engineer. He served in the United States Army in the Korean War obtaining the rank of 1st Lieutenant. He received his Engineering Degree from Carnegie Mellon University. He and his wife were avid golfers and members of the Golf Associations at Pine Hills and Calvert Crossing.
He was preceded in death by his wife Josephine C. Schlessman.
Survivors: his children, David Schlessman and wife, Jeannie, Jodie S. Racca and husband, Mike, and Ken Schlessman and wife, Kim; seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
