Funeral Services for Mrs. Callie Arant Winn, 87, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 3, 2010 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA with Bro. Wayne Duncan officiating. Interment will follow in the Riverview Cemetery in Monroe, LA.
Callie was born on October 17, 1922 and died on Sunday, February 28, 2010. She was a retired nurse for Dr. W. B. Liles. Her favorite pastimes were camping and fishing. She was a very loving and special person and will be missed by all her family and friends. Callie is preceded in death by her husband, William “Dub” Arant and grandsons, Michael Langley and Glen Langley.
Survivors include her daughter, Louise Weatherford and husband, Bill; son, Robert Arant and wife, Pat all of Rocky Branch, LA; grandchildren, Tommy Langley and wife, Kim, Kimberly Langley Haynes and husband, Ted, Sherry Arant, Jerry Arant and wife, Rhonda, Steven Arant, Doug Arant and Crystal Arant; eighteen great grandchildren and eighteen great great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Langley, Jerry Arant, Steven Arant, Doug Arant, Jerry Alan Arant and Ted Haynes.
Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.
Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
