Funeral services for Mr. Bruce E. Douglas, 57, of West Monroe, LA formerly of St. Petersburg, FL will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, February 1, 2009 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe with Rev. Jeff Luellen officiating.
Mr. Douglas was born January 1, 1952 and passed away after a lengthy illness on January 29, 2009. He was a United States Marine Veteran. He loved fishing and horses. While living in St. Petersburg, he was a Charter Captain.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Douglas, children, Michelle Douglas, Tammy Stimpson of Gillette, WY, and Crystal Marlin of St. Petersburg, Fl; three grandchildren, Jacob Marlin, Joseph Marlin, and Rebecca Edwards; brothers, Mark Douglas and wife Lori, Gregory Douglas and wife Lisa, and Michael Douglas and wife Frieda; sister, Margaret McDade and husband Larry of Graham, NC; nephews, Nicholas, Justin and Kenneth Douglas; and numerous other nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until service time Sunday at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
