Bruce A. Mercer

Memorial graveside services for Bruce A. Mercer, 71, of West Monroe, LA., will be held at 10:30 A.M. Thursday September 22, 2022, at the Hasley Cemetery Pavilion with Rev. Frank Woolsey officiating.

Bruce was born on November 13, 1950, in Bastrop and passed away on September 16, 2022, in West Monroe, LA. Bruce enjoyed nature and music and was always quick to offer a helping hand to those in need. He will long be remembered for his kind demeanor and loving heart. He is preceded in death by his father, George W. Mercer, mother, Annie Beatrice Mercer; and brother-in-law, Randy Hilborn.

Survivors include his daughter, Carie Ann Harris and husband, Jamie; bonus grandson, Aden; sister, Vivian Hilborn; brothers, Brian Mercer and wife, Kathy and Randy Lee Mercer; numerous nieces and nephews.
