Funeral service for Mr. Brian Clinton Weems, 42, of Monroe, LA, will be held 2:00PM Wednesday, March 15, 2017, at First United Methodist Church with Dr. Lynn Malone officiating. Interment will follow in Newton Baptist Church Cemetery in Dunn, LA, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd. Monroe.
Brian was born in West Monroe, LA, on November 21, 1974, and passed away on March 12, 2017. He was a co-owner and operator of West and Weems Construction. Brian was a member of First United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Mary Wheeler and Alex; maternal grandfather, Sam Scurria Jr.; paternal grandmother, Sallie Ruth Weems; and paternal grandfather, Clinton Weems.
Survivors include his wife, Amy Pickett Weems; children, Bennett Clinton Weems, Hudson Charles Weems, and Luke Graham Weems; parents, Patrina Scurria Weems and Bruce Clinton Weems; brother, Chris Weems and wife Somer; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Louann and Scott Pickett; nephews, Fisher and Collin Weems and Ethan Pickett; niece, Madison Pickett; business partner, Brian West and wife Nicole; brother-in-law, Clay Pickett and wife Krystal; two aunts, Maria Wall and husband Tommy and Vicki Burroughs; two uncles, Sam Scurria III and fiancé Debra Gilbert and Glynn Weems and wife Ginger; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
Pallbearers will be Brian West, Ronnie Leizure, Brandon Brown, Chris Sitton, John Sitton, Ethan Hunt, Mitch Reppond, and Michael Freeman.
Visitation will be from 4:00PM until 7:00PM Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at Mulhearn Funeral Home in Monroe.
