Funeral services for Mrs. Brenda Kay King, 56, of Calhoun, LA, will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, January 10, 2022, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd., Monroe, LA, with Pastor John Skipworth officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Calhoun, LA. Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Sunday, January 9, 2022, at Mulhearn Funeral Home.

Mrs. King was born November 6, 1965, in Monroe, LA, and passed away Thursday, January 6, 2022, at St. Francis Medical Center, Monroe, LA. Brenda’s heart was for her children and grandchildren that she loved with all she had. Mama/Meme loves you!

Mrs. King was preceded in death by her father, Huey Stephens; mother, Irene Stephens; and grandson, Chevy Flemming.

Survivors include her husband, Robert King; daughter, Sumer Crawford (Joey); sons, Kane Frith (Chelsea), Tanner Frith and Bryar King; sisters, Beverly Waller (Donnie), and Leisa Southern (Curtis); grandchildren, Landon Chandler, Gunner and Addy Rae Wade, Josh Crawford (Maddie), Chris Crawford, Dallas Singleton, Carter and Seth Crawford, Kane Frith, Jr. (Deuce), and Greyson McClain.

Pallbearers will be Tiger and Todd Waller, Corey and Ethan Southern, Landon Chandler, and Gunner Wade.
