Brenda Dianne Girod

Funeral services for Mrs. Brenda Dianne Girod, 77, of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 12:00 P.M. Monday, April 14, 2025, at Victory Baptist Church in Monroe, with Dr. Stephen Trammell, Rev. Grant Bamburg, and Rev. Everett Geis officiating, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd., Monroe, LA. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe, LA. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until service time at the church.

Mrs. Girod was born on March 18, 1948, and passed away April 9, 2025. She worked at Ouachita Parish Public Library as a Technical Services Assistant and was a member of Victory Baptist Church.

Mrs. Girod was preceded in death by her father, Howard Brunson.

Survivors include her husband, Gary Girod; mother, Odie Brunson; sister, Kaye Tarter (Sammy); sons, Todd Girod (Paula), Chad Girod (Summer), and Damon Girod (Lark); and grandchildren, Caroline Girod, Keller Girod, Kennedy Girod, Aidan Girod, Thomas Girod and Piper Girod.

Pallbearers will be Aidan Girod, Thomas Girod, Garrett Ragsdale, John Cash, Frank McGough, Fred Windham, and Gerald Massey. Honorary pallbearers will be the deacons of Victory Baptist Church.
