Brandon was born June 16, 1980 to Ted and Kimberly Haynes in Monroe, LA, and passed away February 8, 2024, in West Monroe, LA.
Brandon was of the Methodist Faith and had the honor of having Rev. Lea Joyner christened him as a baby. He grew up and attended school in West Monroe, LA. Later in life he began working for Progressive Construction as a concrete finisher.
Brandon really enjoyed cooking on the grill and hanging out with his friends. He had a special place in his heart for his home state football teams, the LSU Tigers and The New Orleans Saints. Brandon was fond of game nights with his family and friends where he would play dominos and cards. He also favored hunting and fishing. Brandon was a dog lover, but the Pitbull breed won his heart.
Brandon was preceded in death by George and Eunice Kilpatrick; Glenn and Katherine Langley; William R. Weatherford; Dub and Callie Ouchley Arant; his uncles, Glen A. Langley, Michael W. Langley, and “uncle” Steve Arant.
He is survived by his parents, Ted W. and Kimberly Langley Haynes; grandmother, Louise Weatherford; daughters, Lydia K. Jackson and Hayley B. Haynes; brothers, Justin P. Haynes and Travis J. Haynes; aunts and uncles, Nikki and Randy Haynes, Ronnie and Tammy Haynes, Tommy Langley, Kathy Taylor, and Denise Wilkinson; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, and coworkers.
Brandon loved his girls with all his heart and would do anything for both of them. He had an unbreakable bond with his brothers, Justin and Travis. Although he does not have any nieces or nephews of his own, he was uncle “B” to all the kids in his life.
Pallbearers will be Daniel Simpson, Joel Tully, Lonnie Patton, Josh Statham, Jason Lee, and Brandon Penna.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that you make donations to the Ouachita Parish Animal Shelter or a charity of your choice.
Brandon will forever be missed by his coworkers, his family, and his friends. However, he would want everyone to continue on. Rest in peace until we meet again.
