Funeral Services for Mrs. Bonnie Waggoner Davis 84, of West Monroe, LA will be held 12:00 P.M. Monday, July 1, 2013 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA with Rev. Chris McClain officiating. Interment will follow in the Hasley Cemetery.

Mrs. Davis was born on September 10, 1928 and passed away on June 28, 2013. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Mrs. Davis enjoyed life and her friends. Bridge was a favorite pastime in addition to traveling, cooking, and shopping. Family was the most important thing to her and she spent long hours making sure her family was happy and well taken care of. There was no doubt in anyone’s mind that she was very proud of her family and their accomplishments. Mrs. Davis enjoyed her “Lunch Bunch” at Ridgecrest and the Thursday afternoon McGuire Church service at Ridgecrest. She will be truly missed by all. Mrs. Davis is preceded in death by her husband, Victor Davis, Jr.; parents, Jesse and Lela Waggoner; brothers and sisters, J.W. Works, Florine McWilliams, Jerry Waggoner and Robert Waggoner.

Survivors include her children, Vikki Wilder and husband, Parker, Edward Scott Davis and Bart Davis and wife, Rhonda; grandchildren, Trey Raiford, Andrew Wilder, Michael Davis, Eric Davis, Matt Davis and Dillon Davis; great grandchildren, Michael Davis, Jr. and Peyton Davis; brothers and sisters, Bessie Mae Jackson, Lois Thompson and husband, John, Dorothy Machen and husband, Bobby and Kenneth Waggoner and wife Tonya; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Trey Raiford, Michael Davis, Eric Davis, Matt Davis, Dillon Davis and Andrew Wilder. Honorary Pallbearers will be Michael Davis, Jr. and Peyton Davis.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Sunday, June 30, 2013 at Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.

Memorials may be made to the McGuire United Methodist Church Youth Ministries.

The family would like to give a special thank you to her caretakers from Caring Hearts and Ridgecrest Nursing Home.
