Funeral services for Bonnie J. Vaughn, 83, of Monroe will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, June 30, 2017, at Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum chapel in Monroe, LA, with Dr. Alan Miller officiating. Interment will be in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
Mrs. Vaughn was born on March 6, 1934 and passed away on June 27, 2017 in Monroe, LA.
She was a member of Bonita Baptist Church in Bonita, LA. Mrs. Vaughn worked many years for Field’s Department Store. Mrs. Vaughn was preceded in death by her husband Rev. Billy C. Vaughn.
Survivors include her children, Billy Vaughn and wife Vicki, Carmen Morrow and husband Russ; eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren; brothers, Thomas, Denson, Winston and Bob Walters; sister, Effie Whitfield; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday, June 29, 2017, at Mulhearn Funeral Home in Monroe, LA.
Memorials may be made to the MD Anderson Hospital.
