Bobbye Jean Buelow

Funeral service for Mrs. Bobbye Jean Poindexter Buelow, 90, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00PM Saturday, September 25, 2021, in the Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with Brother Jacob Duvall officiating. Interment will follow in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd. Monroe. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. Saturday, September 25, 2021, in the Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel.
Mrs. Buelow was born on October 13, 1930, in Mangham, LA, and passed away on September 21, 2021, in Monroe. She attended Grace Pointe Church in Monroe. Mrs. Buelow was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister, and especially liked to cook for her family at gatherings. She was a wonderful caregiver working at nursing homes and Meals on Wheels as a dietician. Mrs. Buelow was preceded in death by her husband, Karl Buelow; parents, Jim and Lela Poindexter; brother, Joe Poindexter; and sisters, Lila Walimaa and Ann Kitchens.
Survivors include her children, David Ezernack and wife Gretchen, Daniel Ezernack and wife Lara, Judy Steen, and Kurt Buelow and wife Toni; brother, Thomas Poindexter; sisters, Gay Driscoll, Ida Gilley, and Doris Cox; grandchildren, David Ezernack, Elaine LeBas, Brian Ezernack, Deeana Archer, Joey Buelow, Maria Buelow, and Nicky Buelow; six great grandchildren; and her fur baby, Wendy.
Pallbearers will be David Ezernack, Brian Ezernack, Joey Buelow, Jack LeBas, Lee LeBas, Jeff Mercer, Gary Gilley, and Kyle Poindexter. Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Poindexter, Marshal Wayne Poindexter, Tommy Cox, Joey Strong, Colby Gill, Cramer Haas, Morris Haas and Stuart LeBas.
The family would like to extend a special thanks for the love and care shown by Mangham Home Health especially Colby and Brittney.
