Funeral Services for Bobby Joe Harrell, 69, of West Monroe, will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, February 29, 2008, at the Jackson Street Church of Christ with Bro. Don DeLukie officiating. Interment will follow in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
Mr. Harrell passed away after a sudden heart attack, Tuesday, February 26, 2008 at Glenwood Regional Medical Center. He was the self-employed owner of Ouachita Valley Farm Supply for 32 years. He also served as an elder for 23 years at Jackson Street Church of Christ. Mr. Harrell served in the United States Army at Ft. Sill near Lawton, OK. Mr. Harrell was an avid fisherman.
He was preceded in death by his father, Earl Joseph Harrell, and his father and mother-in-law, David and Valeria McAnally.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Charlotte J. Harrell, daughter, Lisa Salter and husband Chris of Baton Rouge, LA, son, Robert Harrell and wife Kelly of Cabot, AR., mother, Margaret Harrell of Camden, AR; his grandchildren who he loved so much, Kelsey Harrell, Reed Harrell, Cameron Salter, and Larkin Salter; brother, Bill Harrell and wife Marsha of Bentonville, AR., sister, Angie Robertson and husband Charlie of Katy, TX and numerous nephews, cousins and a host of loving friends.
Pallbearers will be Jim Fuller, Terry Ware, Ricky Hudnall, Frank Ellis, Shannon Bennett, Shane Ware, and Honorary Pallbearers will be Phil Riley and Billy Tomlinson.
Visitation will be Thursday, February 28, 2008, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA
