Bobby Fay Broom

Funeral Services Celebrating the Life of Mr. Bobby Fay Broom, 81, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, April 4, 2017 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA with Rev. Warren Eckhardt officiating. Interment will follow in the Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery Monroe, LA.

Mr. Broom was born on August 14, 1935 in Sikes, LA and passed away in West Monroe, LA on March 31, 2017. He served in the United States Marine Corps and worked as an Electrician for the IBEW. He is preceded in death by his parents, Hardy and Willie Broom; brother, Hardy Broom, Jr.; and sister, Cloitile Johnson.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Doris Broom; daughter, Toni Takewell and husband, Mark; son, Joe Landry and wife, Connie; son, Damon Broom; brother, LeRoy Broom; grandchildren, Amber Fontenot, Terry Takewell, and Christie Cooper; great grandchildren, James Landry Cooper and Cutler Coy Bailey; nephew, Chris Broom; and also his beloved pets, Sapphire and Jr.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Monday, April 3, 2017 at Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.
