Bobbie Nell Poole

Funeral service for Mrs. Bobbie Nell Poole, 89, of Bastrop, LA, will be held at 1:00 P.M. Sunday, November 20, 2022, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd. Monroe and a graveside service at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, November 20, 2022, at South Central Cemetery in Wisner with Rev. Warren Eckhardt officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M. until service time Sunday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Poole was born in Wisner, LA, on April 13, 1933, and passed away in Bastrop, LA, on November 17, 2022.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bastrop, LA. Mrs. Poole was a Clerk of Court for Judge Bodie for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sherman C. Poole; brothers, Wayne Furr and Hebert Ray Furr; and sister, Mary Lou Furr.

Survivors include her son, James Ernest “Ernie” Tannehill and wife Denise H. Tannehill; daughter, Bobbie Sue Tannehill; sister, Peggy Ruth Prestridge and husband Harlan Prestridge; grandchildren, James H. Tannehill and wife Gina Tannehill, and Tara Tannehill Berger and husband Daniel Berger; great grandchildren, Henry James Berger, George Thomas Berger, John Harold Tannehill, and Grace Kathryn Tannehill.
