Memorial Services for Mrs. Bobbie Lee Hobson, 76, of Sterlington, LA, will be held 2:00PM Wednesday, September 23, 2020, at First Baptist Church of Sterlington with Brother Dennis Hackler officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00PM until 2:00PM at the church.
Mrs. Hobson was born December 8,1944, in Monroe, LA and passed away Saturday, September 19, 2020, at her residence in Sterlington, LA. Everyone that met Bobbie knew she had a passion for the Lord and served him at her church. They also knew she was a “true” Panther football fan and didn’t miss a game until her illness prevented her from coming.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Evelyn Roberson; sister, Millie Fails; grandson, Joshua Crow; and her two sidekicks, Sandra Nixon and Sally Roach.
Survivors include her husband, Jimmy Hobson; son. John Hobson and his wife, Lori; daughter Jennifer Thomason and her husband, Rickey; seven grandchildren, Whitney Benton (Jared), Tabitha Reynolds (Bobby), Julia Barmore (Adam), Trevor Crow, Cody Hobson, Julie Nowlin (Matt), and Hunter Hobson; and ten great grandchildren, Brody, Bentlee, and Beaux Benton, Ragan, Shelby- Grace, Hank, and Riggs Reynolds, Sarah Kate and Addie Barmore, and Daniel Nowlin.
The family would like to thank Cathy Barr and Caring Hands Hospice for the loving care they provided her in her last days.
