Graveside Services will be held at 2:00PM Friday, February 20, 2015 at Green Lawn Garden Cemetery in Vicksburg, MS.Mr. Hopkins was born on January 3, 1942 in Vicksburg, MS and passed away on February 14, 2015 in Eros, LA. He retired after 42 years of serving in the United States Army Corp of Engineers as an Engineer Technician. He was a member of Frantom Chapel Baptist Church, and a Mason and member of the J.C. Stewart Masonic Lodge of West Monroe. Mr. Hopkins is preceded in death by his parents, John H. Hopkins and Magdalen Hopkins; sister, Peggy Pickett; and niece, Lenelle Sizemore.Survivors include his wife, Diane Hopkins; two nieces, Lori Keebler and husband David, and Linda Golsberry; and numerous great-nieces and nephews.Visitation will be held from 5:00PM until 8:00PM Thursday, February 19, 2015 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.In lieu of flowers, the family would like to request memorial contributions to Frantom Chapel Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O.
