Funeral Services for Mr. Billy W. Horton Sr, 55, of Monroe, LA will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, March 26, 2016 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA with Rev. Carl Sam Cascio officiating. Interment will be held at Mulhearn Memorial Park in Monroe. Mr. Billy was born on November 1, 1960. On the evening of March 19, 2016, Billy passed away due to heart failure while he was working in Perry, Oklahoma. He was 55 years old. Billy liked to go to the boat, travel, shoot pool and fish when he had the chance. He will be greatly missed by all. Billy was preceded in death by his parents, J.L. and Lorena Horton; brother, Ricky Castro; and sister, Vickey Dours.Survivors include his daughter, Valerie Horton Allbritton and husband, Matthew Allbritton; son, Billy Wayne Horton, Jr.; sister, Salley Horton Hodge, and husband, Mike Hodge; brother, James Horton; his loving girlfriend of 25 years, Cindy Jones Boyer; nieces, Jamie Hodge, Brandy Ragsdale and Melissa Moore; nephew, John Dours; and numerous other relatives and friends. Pallbearers will be John Dours, Neil and Hunter Ragsdale, Joe Moore, Albert (Poncho) Hernandez and Ronnie Myers. Honorary Pallbearers will include Mike Hernandez, Felix Hernandez, Garrett Ragsdale and Bill Cartwright. Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Friday, March 25, 2016 at Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.The family would like to give special thanks to Cleveland Integrity Services and the field workers.
