Billy Eugene Nubles

A memorial service for Mr. Billy E. Nubles, 62, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 18, 2023, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd., Monroe, LA, with Rev. Warren Eckhardt officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. until service time at the funeral home.

Mr. Nubles was born August 27, 1961, and passed away October 9, 2023. He was a member of North Monroe Baptist Church. Billy loved cooking and singing Karaoke. He was an avid sports fan, especially the Saints and LSU. He loved his yard and pool; thought his DAD jokes would heal the world and sometimes they did.

Mr. Nubles was preceded in death by his parents, Billy and Jerry Nubles; maternal grandparents, D.H. and Raye Skinner; paternal grandparents, Eugene and Maude Nubles; son, Billy Eugene Nubles II; brother, Raymond Todd Nubles; sister, Danielle Nubles Summerhill; and aunts, Ann West, Joann Rich, Gloria Morace, Jane Nubles, Donna Raye Teston, and Danny Hardy Skinner III.

Survivors include his daughters, Kathryn “Katie” Nubles, Bayline “Bailey” Whitaker, Mary-Ellen Summerhill; grandson, Denver Chase Summerhill; sister, Denaira Nubles; honorary son, CJ Jones; uncle, Harold Nubles, Sr.; aunt, Sandra Roussin and her husband Vince; special friends, Whit and Danielle Hart; as well as a host of cousins and friends.
