Memorial Services for Billie Lois Ewing Gaston, 85, of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, June 22, 2024, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA, with Rev. Jerry Salisbury officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:00 P.M. until the time of service on Saturday at the Funeral Home.
Billie was born July 6, 1935, to Virginia and Leslie Ewing in West Monroe, LA, and passed away June 16, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.
In 1953, Billie met Roy Prinston “Jack” Gaston. By December 21, 1954, they were married. Billie and Jack went on to have two sons, Jack Lane Gaston and Billy Wane Gaston.
Billie was a Charter member of the West Monroe Methodist Protestant Church in West Monroe, LA. Dedicating herself to play the organ and piano every Sunday for over 40 years. Billie worked and retired from Life of Georgia. She then worked and retired from Riverwood (Manville) International. Billie enjoyed everything that her sons and grandchildren were doing. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren lovingly called her MANO.
Billie was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Prinston “Jack” Gaston; her brother, Kent Ewing; and her parents, Virginia and Leslie Ewing.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Jack Lane Gaston and Billy Wane Gaston of West Monroe, LA; her sister-in-law, Barbara Ewing of West Monroe, LA; her six grandchildren, Tyler Gaston (Melissa) of Westlake, LA, Danielle Gaston (Helmut) of Grapevine, TX, Kinsey Bayerl (Hunter) of Watauga, TX, Brelynn Gaston, and Case Gaston and Callen Gaston of West Monroe, LA; her three great-grandchildren, Avery Reese Gaston and Aubree Gaston of Westlake, LA and Beau Bayerl of Watauga, TX; and many loving nieces and nephews.
