Beverly Bridges, age 77, died at her home in Farmerville, Louisiana, on Friday, August 29, 2014. She was born Beverly Barfield, on August 29, 1937, in Caldwell Parish to Shady and Chloe Barfield. Beverly worked for State Farm Insurance in Monroe, LA for 29 years and retired as an underwriter. She was married to William Bridges, originally from West Monroe, Louisiana.Survivors include her husband, William; sisters, Barbara Reitzell of Columbia, Louisiana and Roxie Collinsworth of Ruston, Louisiana; her children, Wesley Pace and Marsha of Covington, Louisiana, Julie Bolton and Jim of Dallas, Texas, Phillip Pace and Connie of Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi; stepchildren, Jessica Thomason and Adam of Titusville, Florida, and J.W. Bridges and Maddie of Kaplan, Louisiana; twelve grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.Services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, September 1, at Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, Louisiana with Dr. Bob Holloway officiating. Interment will be at Columbia Hills Cemetery, in Columbia, Louisiana.
