Beverly Hummel Champion Hooper

Funeral Services Celebrating the Life of Mrs. Beverly Jean Hooper, 72, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, April 29, 2022, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA with Rev. Mark Franklin officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Paschal Catholic Church Cemetery in West Monroe, LA.

Mrs. Hooper was born on February 9, 1950, and passed away on April 26, 2022, in Monroe, LA. Beverly graduated from West Monroe High School in 1968. She was a rural mail carrier for the United States Postal Service. Beverly loved seafood, gardening, old westerns, her children and visits from her granddaughters. Beverly is preceded in death by her father, John Alexander Hummel Jr.; mother, Marie Louise Hummel; brothers, Jack Hummel and Donald David Hummel.

Survivors include her son, Dennis Keith Champion; daughter, Denise Marie Tyson and husband, Jeremy; son, Colin Charles Champion; granddaughters, Emma and Wren Tyson; siblings, Wayne Hummel and wife, Lottie, Gary Hummel and wife, Joyce, Nancy Odaware and husband, Billy, Kurt Hummel and wife, Kim, and Glenn Hummel and wife, Lisa; and her sister-in-law, Kathy Hummel.

Pallbearers will be Keith Champion, Colin Champion, Brian Arender, Brad Arender, Jack Jones and Jeremy Tyson.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until Service Time on Friday.
