Private family graveside services for Mrs. Bettye Ann Bettis McKinney were held 10:00AM Tuesday, August 3, 2021, at Riverview Cemetery with The Rev. Whit Stodgill officiating under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd. Monroe.
Mrs. McKinney was born in Monroe on March 19, 1945, and passed away on July 31, 2021, in Monroe. She was retired from the Ouachita Parish School Board. Mrs. McKinney was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Joe McKinney.
Survivors include her son, Joseph Lee McKinney; grandson, Bedford Forrest McKinney; and former daughter-in-law, Carrie Marie Blackman.
The family would like to express a special thanks to the staff at Glenwood Regional Medical Center for their compassionate care and the staff at The Gardens at Georgia Tucker for giving Mrs. McKinney an outstanding senior living experience.
