Betty R Brown

Services celebrating the life of Betty R. Brown of Sterlington will be held Wednesday, November 4, 2020, at First Baptist Church in Sterlington, LA at 11:00 am. Betty was born April 12, 1943, in Van Buren, AR, and died Saturday, October 31, 2020, in Sterlington, LA. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Dudley R. Brown, parents, Thomas R. Striplin, Sr. and Vivian Lucille Woods, sister, Wilma Jordan, and brother, Thomas R. Striplin, Jr. Survivors include her daughter, Michelle Johnson, and son and daughter-in-law, Lee and Amanda Johnson. Others left to cherish her memory are granddaughters, Brooke, husband, Richard Rhodes, Jr., Alaina Johnson, and Chelbi Johnson; great-grandchildren, Hudson, Alivia, and Magnolia, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and loved ones.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Ouachita Parish Animal Shelter or Ouachita Parish Public Library.
