Betty G. Peveto

Graveside services for Mrs. Betty G. Peveto, 86, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, January 28, 2023, in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery, with Rev. Kelvin Humphries officiating.

Mrs. Peveto was born May 18, 1936, in Cotton Valley, LA, and passed away January 22, 2023, in Monroe, LA. She was a member of House of Prayer International in Monroe, LA.

Betty (Mama Toes) was a dedicated homemaker and a pipeline wife. Her favorite thing to do was attend her church and serve in any way needed. She taught Sunday School and ran a food pantry. Her heart was to give to those in need. She was a fantastic cook and seamstress. She loved her children and grandchildren with all of her heart.

Mrs. Peveto is preceded in death by her husband, Laurie J. Peveto; daughters, Wynona J. Spangler and Bethel Anzalone; grandchildren, Michael Lucas Peveto, Cole Alexandar Peveto, Steven Laurie Peveto, and Jody Lynn Peveto; and one great grandchild, Seth Turner.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Sherry Peveto; daughter and son-in-law, Florine and DeWayne Trahan; granddaughter-in-law, Elizabeth Peveto; Grandchildren, Wendi Turner, Anitra and Steven Luther, Destiny and Cheyenne Hart, Josh Anzalone, Laurie and Garrin Jennings, Lindsey and Tahmid Shantanu; eleven great grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the House of Prayer International in Monroe, LA.
