Funeral Services for Mrs. Betty Martin, 81, of Columbia, MD formerly of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, May 31, 2008 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe with Rev. Mildred Lenard officiating. Internment will follow at Lapine Assembly of God Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Martin was born on June 5, 1926 and passed away on May 27, 2008. She is preceded in death by her husband, Roy C. Martin and daughter Janet Lenard. Her family was her life and was known by all as “Granny”.
She is survived by her children, Gary Martin and wife Judy, Elizabeth Hendrix and husband William, Gayle Kidd and husband Steve; nine grandchildren, Tony, Tonya, Jarrod, Eric, Pamela, Joy , Karin, Joel, and Justin; and thirteen great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Chris Kinzer, Eric Hendrix, Justin Flowers, Tony Lenard, Jesse Lenard and Jarrod Lenard.
Visitation will be from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM Friday at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
