Betty Louise Waidelich, 81 of Monroe, LA, died on Sunday, December 9, 2018, at her home. Betty will be cremated and with no services.
Betty was born on July 7, 1937, in Albion, MI, to William George and Oleta (Herrick) Waidelich. After her Mother’s death (1944) her Father married Dorothea (Doletzke) Waidelich who helped raise her. Betty was a Marshall High School graduate. On January 21, 1957, she began working at Michigan Regional Office State Farm Insurance as a secretary in Marshall. June 1963, Betty transferred to State Farm Insurance Mountain States Regional Office in Greely, CO. In September 1968, she moved to State Farm Insurance Mid – South Regional Office in Monroe, LA, where she retired on July 31, 1999.
She is survived by her brother, Thomas R. Waidelich; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; step-mother, Dorothea; sister, Donna Barnes; brothers, Bruce A. Waidelich, Glen H. Waidelich, and William Waidelich Jr.

Betty completed INS, Certified Professional Secretary designation 1971, LA notary public, past president of Pilot Club of Monroe, Homemakers. Special interests include counted cross stitch, color books and caring for her cats.
