Betty Jean Smith Baird

Funeral Services Celebrating the life of Mrs. Betty Smith Baird, 84, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 12:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at Clark Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Pitson and Rev. Jerry Chapman officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.

Mrs. Baird was born on September 13, 1934 and passed away at her home on November 18, 2018. She loved traveling, reading, but will always be remembered for her love for her family and the love for her many pets. Betty was a member of the Clark Springs Baptist Church and is preceded in death by her parents, Marcellus “Doc” and Viola E. Smith; sister, Sandra Smith Brown and brother, William E. Smith.

Survivors include her husband, Ronald Baird; sons, Thomas E. Foster and wife, Anne; and Bobby G. Foster and wife, Sherry; grandchildren, Krystal Ferlicca and husband, Kris and Jennifer Chisholm and husband, Michael; great grandchildren, Wyatt Ferlicca and Joshua Chisholm; and her sister, Frances Finley.

Pallbearers will be Michael Chisholm, Kris Ferlicca, Danny Chisholm, Joshua Chisholm, Mike Ferlicca, Harold McMillan, and Bobby Finley.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until service time on Wednesday at the church.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
