Funeral services for Betty Jean Rayborn, 82, of Monroe, will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, September 8, 2018, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Monroe, with Rev. Tony Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 1:00 PM until service time at the funeral home.
Mrs. Rayborn was born June 24, 1936, in Richland Parish, LA, and passed away Tuesday, September 4, 2018, at St. Francis Specialty Hospital.
Mrs. Rayborn was preceded in death by her parents, Wayne Alison and Evie Viola Thornton Sheppard.
Survivors include her children, Wayne Rayborn, James Ted Rayborn, Charles Alison Rayborn, and Timothy Lynn Rayborn; brothers, Thomas Sheppard and Earnest Sheppard; sister, Kathryn Culpepper; five grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.
