Private Family Graveside Services Celebrating the Life of Mrs. Betty Jane Zuber Carter, 86, of West Monroe, LA were held on Sunday, March 5, 2017 in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Calhoun, LA under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.
Mrs. Carter was born in Hawkins, TX on May 30, 1930 and passed away on March 4, 2017 in West Monroe, LA. Nannie was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She retired from Delta Vocational Technical School, and for the past 22 years has worked as bookkeeper at the Pool Place in West Monroe. She is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Doyle Carter.
Survivors include her children, Judy Carter Frost and husband, Shannon; and Johnnie Ray Carter and wife, Lynne; grandchildren, Jason Frost, Janna Williams Steele, and Bo Carter and wife, Eva; great grandchildren, Riley Williams, Luke Williams, Breelyn Carter and Allie Carter.
Memorials may be made to the Louisiana Baptist Children’s Home, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the Shriners Children’s Hospital.
