Funeral Services for Mrs. Bettie Sue Lanier, 83, of Shreveport, LA, formerly of West Monroe, LA, will be 10:00 AM Thursday, June 21, 2018, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, with Rev. Gil Martin officiating. Interment will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery in Chatham, LA.

Mrs. Lanier was born January 3, 1935 and passed away on June 18, 2018. She was a retired bookkeeper for the Urology Clinic in Monroe. She was a member of Woodridge Baptist Church in Shreveport, LA. Mrs. Bettie enjoyed singing in the choir and serving her Lord and Savior. She loved fellowshipping with her neighbors at the Garden Park Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Her pride and joy was spending time with family, especially her great-granddaughter, Jaycee. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles W. Tullos, Sr. and Lela Stewart Tullos; husband, Nacy N. Lanier; and sister, Velma Hollis.

Survivors include her son, David Lanier and wife Terri; two grandsons, Clint Kellogg and Jay Lanier; two great-grandchildren, Jaycee Lanier and Branson Hudson; brother, Charles W. Tullos, Jr. and wife Shirley of West Monroe; two sisters, Mary Lou Luker and Vera Bunn both of Shreveport, LA; special granddaughter-in-law, Nikki Lanier Daily; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Perot, Rusty Sims, Dewane Clement, Billy Luker, Wayne Luker, and Donald Luker.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Clint Kellogg and Jay Lanier

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Wednesday, June 20, 2018, at Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
